'At Bishop Druitt College staff, students and parents all have a role to play in achieving the best outcomes for students.'

The Bishop Druitt College Parents and Friends Association is an organisation that supports the aims and objectives of the college. It does so through the promotion of fundraising, fellowship, friendship and fun. 

Notice of upcoming Annual General Meeting - Monday 15 November 

The BDC Parents and Friends Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 15th November 2021, 6pm – 7pm.

Due to AISNSW and NSW Health requirements at this time, the AGM will be an online event.

There are a few ways you can be involved with the Parent’s and Friends Association:

  • Be a Committee Member
  • Be a Member
  • Be a Volunteer for events

Being on the Committee is an opportunity for Parents to be involved in their child’s BDC Journey by encouraging and conducting activities contributing to the well - being of the students and the College community. To be elected as a Committee member, you must be registered as a General Member

Volunteers for the P&F come from all across the College community and to register as a member of the P&F does not mean you need to be a Committee member, however it does mean you will meet some like minded people and have some fun along the way.

There are a number of current committee members who are unable to nominate for re-election for the 2022 school year and we are hopeful you would like to be part of the future direction of the Parents and Friends committee

  • Governance Officer
  • Sustainability officer

Fundraising Activities

The association raises funds for the college through various means, including the 2021 MEGA RAFFLE. 


All events, dates and venues will be advised in the BDC Newsletter and via the college website. Events include the fundraising activities listed above, along with the Mothers’ Day Stall (May), the Fathers’ Day Stall (September), the Community Carols Evening and the Anglicare Toys ‘n’ Tucker Appeal (November).

The Parents and Friends Association are a warm and supportive group and all parents are encouraged to become involved.
