At the end of Week 2 Year 6 students participated in an incursion delivered by Character Builders. This was a new initiative to further develop the leadership attributes of our senior students.   Students were challenged to find and complete a series of challenges within the school grounds. Challenges were designed to improve teamwork, respect, communication skills and camaraderie. During the course of the day we saw leaders emerge in the group when teams were faced with challenges. Students learnt to play to each other's strengths and make each teammate feel valued. 

This was a successful start to the leadership model being delivered to Year 6 students.  All students in Year 6 will be given opportunities, across the year, to demonstrate leadership and guidance to our younger students.
