University Roadshow is coming to BDC!

All Year 12 will be attending the fabulous  Uni Roadshow this week presented by:

• University of Newcastle
• University of New England (Armidale)
• Southern Cross University
• Charles Sturt University

The presentation is a fun and informative session run by university student ambassadors covering

• What to expect at university (costs, accommodation, study planning, life at university)
• Scholarships
• Early Entry

Students will have the chance to chat with the student ambassadors about courses, campus, etc.

Even if you are not intending to apply for university now or attend either of these uni's, this session is a great way to gather information about your post school options and maybe plan for the future. Don't miss it!

Charles Sturt University Explore Day 

Some of our Year 12 students and I took the Barracuda bus down to CSU’s Port Macquarie campus last week. Having some spare seats, we invited interested students from some other Coffs High schools along for the ride.

Students were able to attend 2 spotlight workshops in their area of interest from Business, Paramedicine, Law and Criminology, Sports Science, Nursing just to name a few. Students also got the opportunity to tour the campus and accommodation facilities and get a feel for university life.
