Scholarships

Bishop Druitt College offers three types of scholarships:
  1. Academic scholarships
  2. Scholarships with a special focus
  3. The Noel Jackson Memorial Bursary

Applications for scholarships with a special focus and the Noel Jackson Memorial Bursary commencing in 2025 will open in Term 1 2024 and will close at 4pm on Thursday 28 March 2024. Please see the Noel Jackson Memorial Bursary section below or take the link to our scholarships with a special focus page to apply.

Scholarships are available to new and existing students. Preference is given to those applicants who would greatly benefit from a BDC education but who, without financial assistance, would be unable to attend.

Scholarships are awarded at a rate of full or partial tuition fee depending on the pool of applicants and the scholarships available. The number of scholarships presented each year is at the discretion of the Principal. Enrolment fees, enrolment deposit, subject levies, elective excursions, subject-related costs and uniform purchases are the responsibility of the family.

Scholarships are generally awarded for a two or three-year period, provided all conditions upon which the scholarship was awarded are met. This includes general conditions applying to all scholarships and specific conditions applying to individual scholarships.
